Enhancing Language Awareness of Student Teachers through Lesson Plan Creation

This research aimed to explore the challenges faced by student teachers during Teaching Practice II and examine their strategies for developing language awareness through lesson plan creation. The study employed documentation interviews as data collection techniques, employing a qualitative case approach analysis. findings revealed several encountered students while creating plans. Firstly, in Effective Domain, difficulties writing comprehensive plans expressed apprehension about making mistakes. Secondly, within Power displayed lack of interest identifying indicators objectives Furthermore, Cognitive utilizing Bloom's Taxonomy vocabulary effectively. Lastly, Performance issues structuring sentences correctly made grammatical errors objectives. To develop create appropriate plans, researchers identified five students. needed cultivate an natural English usage. seeking guidance consultation from supervisors or teaching trainers proved beneficial. Thirdly, familiarizing themselves with format at beginning was essential. Additionally, should revise based on feedback received trainers. Finally, ability identify taxonomies crucial.
